If your child is absent you have several ways to notify the school: a note from the parent upon return to school, a response to a Parent Square Attendance Alert or an email to our attendance email account: MVBAttendancesecretary@vbschools.com.
Please include the following information:
- student’s full name
- date/dates of absence(s)
- reason for absence
- phone number
- signature of parent/guardian.
Note: Personal illness, illness or death in the family, exposure to contagious disease, religious holidays, extremely inclement weather, or school-sponsored/related activities will be considered legitimate excuses for a student's absence. Absences for reasons other than those listed above, including out-of-school suspension, are unexcused absences.
