BRATS Club and Deployment Kits

BRATS Club

Virginia Beach Middle School provides an after school club for military children. The club meets once a month for a social gathering of food, fun, and celebration of being a military child. It is led by Purple Star teachers that grew up as military kids and also serves as a support group. Students can sign up for club meetings in the school cafeteria. Email Ms. McAnally for more information.

Deployment Kits

Deployment Kits are available for students at Virginia Beach Middle School through The Comfort Crew for Military Kids. If a parent is being deployed, contact Ms. McAnally so that your child may receive a kit. These resources help military kids and their family connect and build resiliency in the face of extraordinary challenges
